Driving in Bangkok requires a great deal of patience and a certain stubbornness. Few visitors attempt to hire a self drive car, as good knowledge of the city is required to be able to drive around.

The density of the traffic and the number of lanes means that drivers always need to know which lane to be in. There are a number of expressways crossing the city with clearly signposted exits but, during the rush hours from 7 to 9 am and 4 to 6 pm the traffic is often gridlocked. Traffic direction and entry/exit locations change during the day without warning. Bangkok drivers, in particular taxis, buses and motorbikes, are very aggressive and unlikely to give way.

Transfer prices are based on one-way journeys and do not include stops for sightseeing, golfing, site visits, meals, or picking up unspecified passengers enroute without prior acknowledgement by the company.

Up Country trips are restricted to within a radius of not more then 140 kilometers from Bangkok, in the event that you need to make a trip beyond the boundary please inquire by email.

For road safety reasons we do not recommend road trips lasting longer then 10-hours a day, and always keep in mind that the driver needs a lunch / coffee break just like a vehicle needs petrol, besides it is for your own personal safety.
