Two things are keeping me at home these past 2 weeks, one is Covid-19 (no I don’t have it) as the government wants you to stay at home to prevent the spread from widening, and secondly because I have painters at the house.
Therefore I can only leave the house after the workers have packed up for the day, which is usually 4 or 5 pm, but by that time you get accustomed to being at home, a bit like Stockholm Syndrome I imagine, so you feel lazy about going out. Though generally my wife and I have been going out to dinner daily, plus a visit to the supermarket, but it is tiring to be “stuck” to each other all day & night.
I finally told me wife that I’m going to go out for a bike ride, so that I can get some exercise and secondly spend time doing stuff I want to do.
I had planned to go into town on my bicycle to do time lapse shots at a couple of locations, this urge was brought on by my friend who recently made time lapse of sunrise and sunset over one Bangkok street.
I quickly learned it was harder than I had anticipated, and more importantly required quite a bit of patience. Therefore after my 36 kilometer ride & walk, only about 2 minutes of video was really usable, and it’s show above 🙂
