Originally this started off with the intention to photograph police barricades and demonstrators. You may ask what is interesting about that, well Bangkok police started using shipping containers as barricades, which kind of makes you think of the Walking Dead and other end of the world scenarios, and I thought that this would make a good video.
But it turned out to be quite uninteresting, because the demonstrators (against the military government) moved to another location, basically leaving the police and the government looking like fools (again).
And since I saw nothing of interest for videography, I decided to ride home and make a time lapse out of the journey home…. so here it is.
For those who are wondering what bicycle I ride, here are the details;
Brand: On One
Frame: 4560B Chromoly
Wheels: 27.5
Groupset: Deore, Single speed set up with 11 speed
Camera is a GoPro 8 mounted on the handlebars, set to TimeWarp.
FYI if you have been to Bangkok, just beyond the barricades is the Grand Palace & Wat Phra Keo, and to the right is the Royal Field, known locally as Sanam Luang.
