I subscribe to a couple of YouTubers who talk about camera equipment & photography, of course, I don’t watch the whole series one after the other like some teenage girl who’s hooked on some bitchy TV drama. Nope, I just pick the ones I want to watch, no different to how we guys go shopping,
walk into the store, straight to designated shelf, pick-up product, walk to the cashier, check-out, return home.
But I do have a knack for viewing people who aren’t exactly “normal” camera reviewers, such as Kai Man Wong (Kai W) and Kasey Stern (Camera Conspiracy), is it just me (don’t answer that), or is it because these guys immediately give you the impression that they aren’t paid to give good reviews, for they’ll quickly trash something about the equipment within a few short minutes or so.
Seriously though, when looking at a product review, you want to hear about the bad points, cuz you’ve most likely already done some research and currently weighing whether to buy or bye.
Another honest reviewer I am hooked on is Jason Vong, the channel goes by the same name. Below is a video I recently watched concerning the differences in focal length that a lens has when fitted to either a full-frame or an APS-C camera.
I think his easy-going nature makes viewing the video much more entertaining.
Tell me what you think, is it just my craziness, or we have similar disabilities 🙂
