An experiment with my GoPro Hero 8 mounted on the car windshield wiper!
I’ve been trying to purchase a GoPro suction cup so that I can stick the camera on my car in a variety of angles, but haven’t found a shop that has one in stock as yet. In the meantime, I’ve had to improvise by using a Sony handlebar clamp, though this limits possibilities because there are not many protruding parts on a car body, obviously.
Done that. On several occasions I’ve attached the camera mount to the bicycle rack on the roof of the car, however, that tends to vibrate a bit, and I don’t like the off-centered view. On the plus side, it offers a wider perspective.
On trying to find a perfectly centered point of view, I came up with attaching the clamp to the windscreen wiper……yep of all places 🙂 But it actually works quite well, and I love the reflections off the car bonnet during night drives….. hope you like the following video.
