On a recent trip to Lomsak in Petchabun province we made an impromptu stop at Wat Tham Prathat Khao Prang.
The white Buddha statue can be seen from afar as you travelling on the Saraburi-Lomsak highway 21. The temple itself was fairly quiet when we arrived, a few worshippers and I believe I spotted two monks only.
I couldn’t find anything on the temple, it’s history, or what was special about it, only that I noticed names of Chinese families adorning pillars here and there, which I thought was odd for a temple which is basically in the middle of no where.
Without further ado, here’s my shortest video ever …. 4.07 minutes!
In my point of view the temple really doesn’t have anything to offer, only that it was a good stopping off point to stretch your legs.
